DescriptionThe organization of the plan for a large, complex project is critical to your success in monitoring, tracking and controlling that project. Do you know how to approach the organization of the work for such a project? This session will step you through such a process using a successful approach used by Bill Bates on a number of very large, complex projects. It is a simple, three-step Work Breakdown Structuring process that ensures maximum sub-tree independence. It also allows you to validate the correctness of the project structure as you proceed. About the AuthorBill Bates is the Principal of P3M Governance Inc. He has more than thirty-one years experience in applying project management processes across various types of projects in industry and government environments. In addition to authoring and designing several project management methodologies and software systems, he is a retired officer of the United States Marine Corps.
